I’M KORRYN BRACKIN.

I grew up in a small town where my father owned and operated a local hardware store. I thought I knew what a successful business looked like after seeing my dad compete against corporate hardware stores that were moving in. He kept his business alive and kept a steady pace in sales. However, every time I went there, I felt something was off. The employees were disengaged, the store was dirty, and it looked difficult to shop. My dad felt the business wasn’t people driven like it was sales driven. He hired a consultant, Linda, who specialized in DiSC assessments and coached the business to refocus on its people. Eventually, employees were happier, the store was cleaner, and the customers were more satisfied. My perception of a good business totally changed after that. I learned that a successful business is not only about increasing sales, but also about putting time into the employees in order to develop a healthy culture.

Once I saw the impact Linda had on the organization, I knew I wanted to do the same for other businesses. I picked up a minor in leadership at San Diego State University, I became a DiSC certified expert and consultant, and now I am working towards being a cultural inspiration in any type of organization. My mission is to help you understand your needs and be aware of the needs of others. This will lead to effectively communicating which will then lead to a healthier business culture.
